Happiness - Week 14

 Last week was intense, busy, but stable and peaceful. There were meeting with friends, summarizing the results of the first month of the Project Happiness, a lot of new ideas and plans. And we are starting a new project with my sister!

Happy moments were the following:
- It’s nice to wake up in the morning, when everyone is asleep, slowly make yourself ready for work, find time to write an English post in about happiness, then wake up everyone and come to work on time

- To meet the husband during lunch break and take a walk around the city

Happiness - Week 13

Last week was the first week when everything is more or less settled and calm in our Melbourne life. It doesn’t mean that life becomes less interesting, it’s just but more balanced and less stressful.

Happy moments of last week are:
- I made a plan for April, and it will be month declared to my husband and little son. Soon I will show you the plan :)

- Finally we took Daniel to the pool for the first time in Melbourne. He adores water and in Sydney he was going regularly with my mum. The pool was very nice and had a lot of activities for children, even I had to ride on a small roller coaster with my son ) )

- We finally started to travel around Melbourne and last weekend we went to Overnewton castle, they hosted a Teddy bear picnic :). Personally, I loved the castle; Daniel was in love with Fairies and painting on plaster figurines.

- I got great pleasure from the castle landscape design, and just how much was planned for children to do, plus the weather ... It was beautiful! :)

What is my happiness about?

I'm starting a project Happiness, because I want to learn how to be happy. I want to learn how to notice good things in every day. They say that only one who can see the sun on a cloudy day will be able to be happy no matter what.

That's why I want to dedicate a year to become happier.


Julie in the movie "Julie & Julia" for a year led a culinary blog, many people are doing project 365, for which they take one photo every day during 365 days. I give myself a year commitment to do Project Happiness.

After reading the book about happiness I’ve got so many plans. The point is that each month is devoted to one topic. But first I need to understand what can make me happy.

I came to the following things without which my happiness is not complete:
♦ Happy child
♦ Joyful husband
♦ Cosy Home
♦ Healthy and energetic Me
♦ My appearance
♦ Travelling
♦ Friends
♦ Cooking
♦ Hobbies
♦ Social recognition, the ability to do something useful for the society
♦ To be the best in my job
♦ Being organized and having time for everything I would like to do

Gretchen also defined some life wisdom quotes for herself. 
Mine are the following:

Starting point

Recently I've read an article that made me think about Happiness and what does this mean for me?!

I kind of think that I am happy! I have a lot I've dreamed about: nice family, interesting life, well-payed job, hobbies, good relationship and nice people surrounding me… Every time I thought I will be happier when I graduate from the university, move to another city, change a job, got a baby, etc. But no matter what I did and where I lived (and I lived in a lot of cities/countries) I always felt that something is missing, something small, but still…  

So today I've decided to change it! I've realized that I take a lot for granted and I am forgetting to be thankful for simple happy moments in my life, moments that make my life! Happiness is a state of soul, the way we perceive the world! 


From today I will try to learn to be happy every day. And I want to learn it not just for myself but for all people surrounding me. I want them to benefit from my smile and positive attitude!

That’s why I am starting a Happiness project! I know that such project and the book exists already, but this is going to be My Happiness Project and it’s going to be different because we like different things and have different needs, but I know we have a lot in common too!  


So here I will write everything I learn and practice about how to become happy. And I would really love if you can join me. Let’s became happier together!
